Founded in April 1998, Hitachi Ltd. Philippine Branch (HIMAC) is an overseas design office of Hitachi Ltd., Hitachi Works, Japan. It was established to provide engineering design services for thermal power distribution and transmission systems. HIMAC is located in Makati central business district in RCBC building along Ayala Avenue. The company maintains a workforce of about 200 highly qualified employees, and is continuing expansion. These are professionals comprise mostly of mechanical and electrical engineers.
